What is the Housing Health and Safety Rating System?
The HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) offers a method for assessing hazards and determining the most appropriate course of action to address them. Hazards are categorised based on their severity and immediacy. Those posing a significant and immediate risk to health and safety are classified as Category 1 hazards; less serious or urgent hazards fall under Category 2.
